Frequently asked questions

Which fitting should I book?

Driver fitting:

Ideal if you're looking to improve distance, accuracy, launch or consistency from the tee.

Iron fitting:

For golfers looking to optimise iron distance, trajectory, dispersion and feel.

Wedge fitting:

Helps determine the right lofts, sole options, bounce and gapping for your short game.

Putter fitting:

Focuses on your putting stroke, setup, head design, length, loft and alignment to find a putter that suits your stroke.

Full bag fitting:

The most comprehensive option for golfers looking to review or build their complete set, including distance gapping and consistency across the bag.

What happens during a golf club fitting?

A fitting is a personalised session where we assess your swing, ball flight and current equipment to determine the club specifications that best suit your game. We use launch monitor data and your feedback to help identify the right combination of head, shaft, loft, lie, length and grip.

Do I need to be an experienced golfer to have a fitting?

Not at all. Our fittings are suitable for golfers of all abilities, from beginners to experienced players. The aim is to find equipment that works for your swing, rather than expecting you to adapt your swing to the clubs.

What should I bring to my fitting?

We recommend bringing your current clubs, particularly the clubs you're looking to replace. Wear comfortable golf clothing and your usual golf shoes if possible. If you have a specific ball you normally play, you can bring that too.

Can I bring my own clubs to compare against the fitted clubs?

Yes. In fact, we encourage you to bring your current clubs. Comparing your existing equipment against different specifications gives us useful information and helps demonstrate whether a change will genuinely benefit your game.

Will I be fitted for a specific brand?

Our fitting process should be based on what performs best for you, rather than simply selecting a particular brand. We'll use the available club heads, shafts and specifications to find the combination that best matches your swing and goals.

Can I be fitted for just one club?

Yes. You don't need to commit to a full set. You can book a specific fitting for areas such as driver, fairway woods, hybrids, irons, wedges or putter, depending on the fitting options available.

Can you fit me if I'm a beginner?

Absolutely. A fitting can be particularly useful for newer golfers because it helps ensure you're starting with equipment that is appropriate for your swing, physique and ability rather than simply using off-the-shelf specifications.

What measurements do you take?

Depending on the fitting, we may assess factors including club length, lie angle, loft, shaft profile, shaft flex, shaft weight and grip size. We also look at your swing and ball-flight data to determine which specifications are most appropriate.

What technology do you use during a fitting?

We use launch-monitor and club-fitting technology to analyse key aspects of your swing and ball flight. This can include data such as club speed, ball speed, launch angle, spin, carry distance, dispersion and strike location.

What happens after my fitting?

Once we've identified the specifications that suit you, we'll discuss the options with you and provide the recommended build. You can then decide whether you'd like to proceed with your custom clubs.

Am I expected to buy clubs after the fitting?

No. A fitting should give you the information you need to make an informed decision. You won't be pressured to purchase equipment during your session.
