Player Consultation
You will be greeted by our team on arrival and have a discussion to identify clear goals and objectives for the session. We want to understand you as a golfer, your game, goals, preferences and what you want to achieve.

Current Equipment
Assessment
During the warm up, we will spec all of your current clubs and this blueprint will provide the baseline for your fitting session. We will analyse the performance of your existing clubs and establish a baseline of current equipment.

Performance Analysis & Optimisation
We’ll guide you through every stage of the fitting, using data from your current equipment and our expertise to establish where we can improve performance. From there, we’ll test a carefully selected range of clubheads and shafts from leading brands, comparing the results to identify the combinations that best suit your swing and goals. We’ll then fine-tune every element of the specification — including swing weight, loft, lie, centre of gravity (CG), moment of inertia (MOI) and more — to optimise performance and ensure your clubs are precisely matched to you. There is no specification that will not be tested and discussed during your fitting at McKnight Golf Co.

Precision Build &
Final Specification
Once your specifications have been finalised, we’ll order and build your clubs to the exact requirements established during your fitting. Every club is meticulously assembled, measured and quality-checked to the exacting tolerances we demand at McKnight Golf Co. From loft and lie to swing weight and overall specifications, every detail is verified to ensure your clubs perform consistently and precisely as intended.

What happens during a custom golf club fitting?
During a custom club fitting at McKnight Golf Co, we get to know your game, understand what you need, and find the equipment that gives you the best chance of playing better golf. With all of the leading brands, we can focus on what genuinely works best for you - taking care of all the technical details, so you don't have to. All golfers will have access to GC Quad technology throughout an indoor and outdoor fitting experience.
Do I need to bring my current golf clubs?
Yes, where possible. Bringing your current clubs allows us to assess how your existing equipment performs and gives us a useful benchmark when testing alternative options.
What happens at the initial meeting?
We start by discussing your game, goals and any areas you would like to improve. We'll look at your current equipment and understand what you're hoping to achieve from the fitting.
Will you take measurements?
Yes. We'll take the relevant measurements needed for your fitting. These can help us determine suitable club specifications and narrow down the options that are appropriate for you.
What do you test during the fitting?
We test different club and shaft combinations to see how they perform for you. Depending on the fitting, this can include different heads, shafts, lofts, lies, lengths and other specifications such as swing weight, centre of gravity (CG).
Do I need to be an experienced golfer?
No. Our fitting process is suitable for golfers of different abilities. Whether you're new to the game or an experienced player, the aim is to find equipment that is appropriate for your individual swing and goals.
Will I be able to try different clubs?
Yes. Testing different equipment is an important part of the process. Rather than simply recommending equipment based on measurements, we look at how the different options perform when you hit them.
What happens after the testing stage?
Once testing is complete, we'll review the results with you and discuss our recommendations. You'll have a clear understanding of the equipment and specifications that we believe are best suited to your game.
